Day 01

Airport / Kandy – Mahaweli Reach Hotel * * * * *
AM Arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport. Welcome and assistance upon arrival and transfer to the hotel in Kandy. Enroute visit the elephant orphanage at Pinnawela. It is an orphanage for baby elephants set up by the Department of National Zoological Gardens. The Orphanage was established to feed, nurse, and house young elephants found abandoned by their mothers. Other inmates are those found displaced from their natural environs by development projects or those found wounded. PM Arrive in Kandy and check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 02

Kandy – Mahaweli Reach Hotel * * * * *
AM After breakfast, visit the Victoria Golf Club, and play a round of Golf. PM Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03

Kandy / Peradeniya / Nuwara Eliya – Grand Hotel (Colonial)
AM After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Nuwara Eliya. En route visit the Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya. The Royal Botanical Garden at Peradeniya were established in 1821 and now covers 140 acres, snuggled in a loop in the Mahaweli River, the longest river in Sri Lanka. Its primary purpose was the testing and acclimatizing of plants for commercial use in Sri Lanka. Today the Gardens have one largest collections of flora from sub tropical climates around the world. PM Visit a tea plantation and a tea factory. Arrive in Nuwara Eliya and visit the city – the little English town. Check in at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 04

Nuwara Eliya – Grand Hotel (Colonial)
AM After breakfast, visit the Golf Club and play a round of Golf. PM Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05

Nuwara Eliya / Kithulgala / Colombo – Hotel Taj Samudra * * * * *
AM After breakfast, checkout from the hotel and proceed to Kithulgala, the site where the famous award winning film “The Bridge over the River Kwai” was filmed. Today, it is the site for the thrilling water sport White Water Rafting. PM Proceed to Colombo. Arrive at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06 and 07

Colombo – Hotel Taj Samudra * * * * *
AM Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Golf Club and play a round of Golf. PM Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08

Colombo / Airport
AM Checkout from the hotel and continue to the airport in time for the departure flight. Please note that you have to be at the airport 03 hours before the actual departure hour..
